So after feedback from here, Bluesky, Instagram, and the Discord servers I'm in, here's the finalized concept of my Bluesky mascot 🦋💙☁️

I figured a Day Mode and Night Mode version would be a great compromise since I saw a lot of people loved the starry night wings but the blue wings match the logo more.

This is Cristina, a butterfly-like pixie and the main character of my concept. She's very curious, passionate and idealistic. She has a strong desire to help people and wants to see the good in them. She's also very creative and loves to draw and design fashion~

She got into an incident one day while wondering off in the Darkland alone (without telling anyone) and it resulted in her sensing ghosts strongly/having a connection with them. This ability tends to spook her a lot.

Meet Curtis

So I’ve had this Hazbin Hotel OC for a little bit now and I drew him tonight so I figured I may as well talk about him.

This is Curtis Moore. He died in 1998 at the age of 38 years old after he fell off of a building. Curtis was born in Texas in 1960 and moved around a lot between his teens and early twenties. He eventually ended up in New Jersey where he was introduced to both weed and stand up comedy. He loved both, and perused a career in the former. Curtis was successful in his ventures as he had a very bold sense of humor, interacting with the audience and frequently telling his raunchy stories.

When he died, Curtis emerged in hell and took his time to get used to things. With his newfound typhokinesis and a small gain in foresight, he took back the stage with a grand slam. He quickly gained popularity in his first decade in Hell, then in 2014 he decided to start going for a position as an overlord. He’s been slowly claiming souls since then by making deals to entrance people in his smoky comedy club to be happy with the endless jokes and sets. That takes us to the present where he’s now sending his laughing goons out to try and claim territory from the Vee’s. Curtis will occasionally do a snoop and slide to overlord meetings, but nobody really respects him as much as he’d like. It’s reasonable though.

His wings are retractable, but he keeps them out a lot of the time because it’s a good way to keep the focus on him when he’s taking up all that space.

Okay okay okay so new ocs / characters / whatever really

Puppeeteerie, fishkabob, then a butterfly character called “Marionette” who goes by Mary, and an insane cat called Krazy Kat who I think I want to be the villain of the story?? Or at least one of them because I think it would be funny haha. read more about Mary under the cut ;)

So I decided to make eerie a trap door spider! Or well a trap door spider person?? Anyways, they are only carnivorous so they drag or trap or literally anything to get anything with a good amount of meat on their bones in their trap! This is also includes “human” beings (hint hint wink wink) and how they do that is by trying to invite them into their little hidey hole! They happen upon Mary, the child of a rather influential man and try the same song and dance but Mary eventually leaves without going anywhere near the trap (bummer). Mary tells her father about this weird child and the guy is like “oh shit people eater who tried to eat my daughter” so he sends guards to go and burn down and destroy the hidey hole, trapping Eerie in their own trap and making them lose their arm in the fire (the arm that they eventually replace with Drake the Dragon!)

Mary turns out to not be entirely human (her father *got around* in his early 20s okay?) and she’s so,e sort of butterfly fae or whatever haven’t decided yet. She ends up blaming Eerie, who is completely unrelated to her “monster” awakening, and only to kill and dissolve her insides to eat. Perfectly normal behavior. Anyways Mary gets this whole “main character” phase where she goes out and kills all the “monsters” she can so no one else “has to go through what happened to her” until she happens upon Eerie and Fishkabob! Mary tries to kill Eerie without provocation, only focusing on Eerie and mostly ignoring Bob (or Fish if you’re Eerie.) eventually Eerie is on the ground and Mary has this whole hero speech planned out until Eerie literally just does not remember her. Mary is all like “I bet you didn’t think I’d come back! Isn’t that right Eerie?” And Eerie is all like “…who the fuck are you???” And Mary gets to be like. “I’m… Mary? Y’know the girl you turned into one of your kind?” And Eerie is like “hmm…. Marie? No…. Mari?? No no I just… no I don’t remember you I talked to a lot of people like you over the years”

And then Mary gets all huffy like “we were children? You were letting me talk about how annoying my dad was and then I left? And then that night I turned into this.. this monster” which makes eerie confused because Eerie’s bites don’t do that? They just melt your insides until the being is a glorified milkshake. And then they snap thier fingers or something and they’re like “OOOOOHHHHH you’re the girl that got away! Haha yeah I was trying to literally kill and eat you but then you somehow got out of my trap! I thought I set everything up just perfectly but then you fluttered away and then got my home burned down! I remember now! And I remember that I hate you! Isn’t that nice? I hate you too my beloathed :)” and Mary’s sitting there gobsmacked like. Shit. They’re horrible for an entirely different reason! I must now have a break down about my entire philosophy and shit so they do and Eerie and Fishkabob run! Eerie got almost marked so they’re on Fishkabob’s shoulders as they walk away and leave her to do. Whatever really and I’m just imagining this scene apologies for my horrid writing skills:

Eerie sit upon Fish’s mechanized shoulders, being lulled to sleep by the gentle swaying of the mech. Their none existent arm burns like the night hey lost as they think over the conversation between them and Marionette over and over. Eventually they break the silence that had fallen over the friends.

“Do you think I was too blunt?” Eerie asks the fish “man”. He is silent for a moment thinking of how to reply.

“Not at all friend. But I always did appreciate how blunt ya are friend. Makes it easier to talk to ya,” says Bob. Eerie just hums finally falling asleep to the sound of a ticking heart surrounding them.

Anyways I really can’t fucking think of how Mary should look like. At all. So time to look up cool butterflies maybe :)
